Promoting the kind of edge-of-your-seat storytelling that draws listeners like moths to a porch light, the New York based organization The Moth has produced storytelling shows for sold-out audiences since 1997. Called "New York's hottest and hippest literary ticket" by The Wall Street Journal, The Moth has presented celebrated writers and actors such as Margaret Cho, Janeane Garofalo, Moby and Frank McCourt, alongside an astronaut, a voodoo priestess, a pickpocket, a cop and hundreds of others.
