The Motet December 31, 2012

Founded and led by drummer Dave Watts, The Motet began blending Afrobeat with jazz and electronica over 10 years ago. With roots in jazz, Afrobeat, funk, salsa and samba, the band's danceable music is also blended with house and techno rhythms into a unique style. The group has proven their talents on the sixth release, 'Dig Deep,' which has a heavy-horned Afrobeat influence combined with electronica.
