What's a better way to finish your day at The Toledo Zoo than having a close encounter with a giraffe? Your guided tour will head behind-the-scenes to meet up with a keeper in the giraffe barn. We'll walk throughout the different stalls of the barn and the exercise area as we learn about all the hard work that goes into taking care of these tall creatures. We'll then venture out to the outdoor enclosure and you'll get a special view of our Africa! exhibit. And for the grand finale the exciting opportunity to have a giraffe eat right out of your hand! This walking tour lasts approximately 45 minutes. Visitors can sign up at the Tour Cart located near Bear Essentials inside the main admission gate.
