Baby on Board Arrives in Chicago! Plus: It's Zacuto Night!

Indie filmed entirely in Chicago stars Heather Graham and Jerry O'Connell

Chicago, IL - The Midwest Independent Film Festival will be hosting a special advance screening of the indie comedy Baby on Board, starring Heather Graham, Jerry O'Connell, John Corbett and Lara Flynn Boyle. The First Tuesday festivities begin at 6 p.m. at Landmark's Century Centre Cinema, 2828 North Clark, on Tuesday, May 5th. The picture was wholly produced in Chicago and tells the story of a professional woman (Graham) whose career and personal life are turned upside-down by an unexpected pregnancy. The screening will include a post-screening discussion with executive producer Russell Scalise and producer Carrie Holt de Lama.

May 5th will also be "Zacuto Night at The Midwest Independent Film Festival" and will feature an invaluable seminar from Zacuto president Steve Weiss and several of their premier vendors, including Zeiss and Switronix! Film Synopsis: Baby on Board stars Heather Graham, Jerry O’Connell, John Corbett, Lara Flynn Boyle and Katie Finneran in the story of a professional woman (Graham) whose career and personal life are turned upside-down by an unexpected pregnancy. A series of misunderstandings among two couples escalate into a battle of the sexes, as Graham and Finneran find themselves in a struggle to save-or get-out-of-their marriages to divorce attorney spouses O’Connell and Corbett. The picture is directed by Brian Herzlinger, whose 2004 feature documentary My Date with Drew garnered critical praise for its “astute and often hilarious” presentation of Herzlinger’s attempt to get a date with childhood-crush Drew Barrymore.

Screening Information: Tuesday, May 5th -- festivities begin with a Pre-Show Cocktail Reception (sponsored by GUINNESS Draught) at Landmark's Century Centre Cinema (2828 North Clark) at 6 p.m. Zacuto's independent filmmaking seminar will begin in the theatre at 6:30 p.m. Baby on Board screens promptly at 7:30 p.m. Post-screening reception generously hosted by Forno Diablo, 433 West Diversey. Tickets for this premiere event range from $10-15 and include entry into all of the evening's festivities.
