Now in its 14th year, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow has gathered together a gaggle of fresh and familiar Comedy Festival faces and sent them out across Australia.

This year’s line-up reflects the range and diversity of the 2012 Comedy Festival, with acts travelling the country ranging from stand-up to musical and sketch comedy. The Wollongong line-up includes Dave Callan (Irish born star of Triple J radio) as MC, Lawrence Mooney (regular co-host on Channel 10’s The Circle), DeAnne Smith (award-winning comic from Canada), Josh Earl (sports five sold-out Festival shows under his belt) and Randy (a foul-mouthed purple puppet who regularly performs in award-winning sold-out shows with musical comedian Sammy J).
Last year, comedians taking part in the Roadshow performed to enthusiastic crowds in 60 regional centres and capital cities across Australia - not to forget a highly successful stint in Singapore and a sold-out debut season in Hong Kong.
Given such popularity, this year's Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow plans to connect with even more comedy fans and share the kind of humour that's had Melbourne weeping with laughter. More than 300 shows contained in one - you can't get better value than that.
