The Marshall Tucker Band became one of the major Southern rock bands of the '70s with such hits as 'Heard it in a Love Song' and 'Can't You See (What This Woman's Been Doin' to Me).' Philadelphia songwriter Skip Denenberg has a distinct American feel that seems instantly familiar and comfortable, as is evident on his first CD, 'Anywhere U.S.A.'. As a film and television composer he has scored programs and promos from 'Sesame Street.' to Olympic highlight reels. His second CD: 'Havin' A Ball' was produced by the Philadelphia Phillies, featuring 'Concrete & Steel' from the closing ceremonies at Vet Stadium, and 'Hero: The Ballad of Tug McGraw,' the song used to induct Tug into the Phillies "Wall Of Fame".
