Boston Opera Collaborative (BOC) presents The Marriage of Figaro, July 16-18, 23-25, 2010. Friday/Saturday performances begin at 7:30 pm, Sunday performances begin at 3:00 pm

All in a day's madness: parents reunited with an abducted son, a lecherous count foiled by a clever servant, a double marriage, all blessed by a young wife’s forgiveness. Based on a French farce that was widely condemned for its portrayal of inter-class conflict, Mozart's opera bristles with backstabbing, lovesickness, trickery, and some of opera’s most memorable music. Performed in Italian with English supertitles. Meet stage director Michael Ouellette, and music director Adam Boyles at a free pre-performance lecture July 18 at 2:15 pm.
