The Mike Officer Band (The M.O.B.) is an eclectic Alternative Rock group with a heavy Blues and Folk influence born in the City of Angels. Their music has been described as sounding like a mix of Jeff Buckley, Elliot Smith, Coldplay with an edge, and Radiohead's earlier sound. The band is composed of a group of friends who somehow found a bond over musical cross overs at the Musician's Institute in Hollywood, CA.

Major influences are:
Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, Simon & Garfunkel, Elliott Smith

Most recently the band toured the South and Midwest opening for the legendary B.B. King.
