Jo's first full length "Be the Man" produced by Martha Wainwright was launched in January 2011. Williamson is backed by Bryan Devendorf of The National who plays drums, Doveman's Thomas Bartlett supplies delicate piano; Doug Wieselman plays saxophone and clarinet, Rob Moose adds guitar and storied guitarist Jim Campilongo lends his prowess throughout. Brad Albetta engineered, mixed the album and plays bass. The results are arresting, stark, moody, striking songs that grab hold fast and refuse easy release.

Born an Army brat, Jo spent her childhood moving all over the United States and Europe living on different military bases with her family. She moved to New York to study theater at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She has worked with avant-garde/classical composers, songwriters, instrumentalists, directors and video artists, as actor, singer and writer.

Jo released her EP 'Wake on the Hudson' which she wrote while living on a 66-foot boat docked on the Jersey side of the Hudson. She has a radio show called "By Associations" that features live music, guests and portraits of interesting persons on WPKN 89.5 Bridgeport, CT.

Nearly four decades ago, a group of eight women filled 1879 arch on the Princeton University campus with a melodious four-part arrangement of Ella Fitzgerald's "How High the Moon". With this performance, the original all-female Princeton sound was born. Today, the Tigerlilies are widely recognized as one of the nation's premier a cappella groups.

The Tigerlilies have received global acclaim on our international tours to China, the Virgin Islands , Australia , Japan , Thailand , Hong Kong, the Bahamas , and London . We love performing locally as well. Anywhere we go, our close harmonies, warm humor, and innovative choreography delight audiences of all ages.
