The Lion and the Fox November 20, 2010

This one-act play is based on the court case Walter Mills v. Board of Education of Anne Arundel County et al, in which the African American principal of an elementary school at Camp Parole, MD fought for equal pay for black and white teachers. Local actors, dignitaries, and educators will come together to tell the story of what could have happened on November 22, 1939 - the morning the final decision was handed down.
