Dr. Lu teaches obstetrics and gynocology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and maternal and child health at the UCLA school of Public Health.

He has recieved numerous awards for his teaching, including Excellence in Teaching Awards from the Association of Professors of Gynocology and Obstetrics. He has been voted one of the best doctors in America since 2005.
