In the past year, we’ve been gripped by: economic crisis, everywhere... the Middle Eastern uprisings... nationwide rioting and demo’s... police, media and political scandals... the Chilean miners... natural disasters... and much more. In the face of this wide range of economic, social, environmental, political, and cultural struggles - we urgently need to recover imaginative thinking, innovative action, and better ways to connect together. How can we best embrace these changes, and be changed? What do we already know that will enable us to move forward? What are the big questions we need to be asking? And what role are we each going to play? The Leeds Summat Gathering is an innovative and creative event for 1000+ people from across Leeds and the North to connect, talk, eat, create, debate, dream… and plan a new world together.
