THE LAUREATES play punchy indie rock with a bouncy pop edge, and their debut LP, There Are No More Gentlemen was an effort full of skill and lack of pretension. Last year they offered up their new No Kontrol EP for free via their website, a five-song collection tweaking the vintage rock/pop sound by adding a touch of noise and reverb-ed abandon. SHARK? and THE SUNDELLES swing by the Bottle on their way from NYC down to Austin for SXSW and LIONLIMB, a band that Loup Loop Press has called "good good good," open.
