Gallery 16 and Table 27 Productions proudly present:

The Lady MacBeth of Martinez.
A comedy about ambition, murder, and trash.

The Lady of MacBeth of Martinez is a whirlwind pop-culture punch featuring visual art, spanish dance, slasher films, tele-novellas, sitcoms, and talk shows put in a blender, set to puree and poured into a classic Russian novel. The story takes place in a Martinez, California trailer park where the ambitions of a young, sexy, woman smash head-on into the lives of a sullen landlord and his sister, a wandering misanthrope, and an unlucky tramp who makes a very bad choice.

Gallery 16, the location of The Lady MacBeth of Martinez, is a magnificently designed gallery on the corner of 3rd and Bryant and is currently hosting the work of Elliot Anderson. His installation entitled “Equivalents” furnishes a luxurious backdrop for this entertaining, fast-paced, and unique live theatrical experience.

The show takes place at 501 Third Street Thursdays, March 19th & 26 and Fridays, March 20th and 27th. Tickets are $10 and the show starts at 8pm.

The play is written and directed by local playwright, Richard Ciccarone, and choreographed by Amanda Bassolino. It stars, Olen Holm, Kalli Jonsson, Jennifer Lucas, Jennifer Masto, Lena Mullins and Erika Salazar.
