Top DC chefs and mixologists will channel their inner rock star at The Food Allergy Foundation’s Kitchen Ball, September 30th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., to raise allergy awareness. An essential source of awareness and support, the Food Allergy Foundation hosts the Kitchen Ball, a fundraiser featuring delicious allergy-friendly fine cuisine, wine and spirits, a silent and live auction all to benefit The Food Allergy Foundation and food allergy research. The night culminates in the unveiling of the Kitchen Band, made-up of participating chefs and mixologists led by honorary Chef Band Conductor, Chef Mike Isabella and backed by DC’s own, The Soul Crackers.

The Kitchen Ball will kick off with a reception and Silent Auction at 6:00 p.m. At 7:30 p.m., a Two-Course Dinner and Awards Program will commence, featuring a menu inspired by Chef Mike Isabella. The FAF will present the Excellence in Food Allergy Awards for significant contributions to food allergy support, education, awareness, advocacy and research. Awards will include, the Food Allergy Mom, Dad and Child of the year, Food Allergy Researcher and Local and National Restaurant of the year. At 8:30 p.m. the long-awaited Kitchen Band will take center stage for its DC premier, led by “front man” Chef Mike Isabella followed by more music from the Soul Crackers and dancing until 10:30 p.m.
