The Kansas City Music and Entertainment (KCMEC) Conference is an event designed to educate artist, showcase talent and involve the community with different aspects of the entertainment industry. The event will be held at the Kansas City Convention and Entertainment Center and several other locations near the Kansas City, Missouri downtown area. The purpose of the event is to draw diversity, support and recognition to some of Kansas Citys most talented artist, as well as, local businesses that support the music industry.
The goal of theKCMEC is educating attendees about the music industry, exposing independent artist to the marketplace and developing an outlet that will allow independent artists to be successful.
The panelist for the 2009 KCME Conference includes individuals from all aspects of the Entertainment Industry. Songwriters, Producers, A&R Executives, Journalists, Lawyers and Radio Hosts are just a few of industry insiders who make up this first time event.
