The Joy of Sake September 27, 2007

The Joy of Sake is a celebration of the art of sake brewing featuring over 300 premium sakes - the largest sake tasting in the United States. The Joy of Sake offers a rare opportunity to sample outstanding labels in peak condition, many of which are not otherwise available in the US. Attendees will be able to taste the full spectrum of sake styles in the junmai, ginjo and daiginjo categories, including recipients of silver and gold awards from the U.S. National Sake Appraisal.

Participating New York City restaurants include Bao Noodles, Bond St, Chanto, EN Japanese Brasserie, 15 East, Geisha, Kai, Kyotofu, Matsuri, Megu, Nobu, Oms/b, Riingo, Sakagura, SushiSamba, Tocqueville, Woo Lae Oak and wd-50.

Tickets are $75 in advance, $90 at the door
