Lillian Alonzo-Marins art is created spontaneously, yet through an open and receptive sense of intention. In her work, ideas, places or people interact in an intermingling of sorts or in selective isolation. They play, think, feel, experience and move. They gain life through color and location within the composition. Images decide how to behave before the artist is aware of it. In this intuitive exercise, Alonzo-Marin brings along a passion to uncover what may appear around the next corner. In a world within worlds, networks, positions, social classes, equality, inequality, trends, originality, opportunity, freedom, repression, despair and utter joy, her work recreates what could be presently happening at any given moment, at any given place, to any living being in this world or the next. Each work is both a reflection of the artist and of worldly and spiritual situations and ideas.
