The Jigglewatts Burlesque Presents: A Toast to the Legends! May 19, 2011

The shining stars of Texas burlesque have come together to
raise funds for the Burlesque Hall of Fame (BHOF), a nonprofit organization and the ONLY burlesque museum on the planet! We are working to send burlesque legend and star of Jack Ruby's famous Carousel Club, Tammi True (Dallas) to the BHOF weekend for the first time ever this year.

Each June, hundreds of burlesque performers converge upon Las Vegas for the annual Burlesque Hall of Fame weekend and reunion, including the living legends of burlesque; women who performed during the golden era of burlesque and now wish to share their knowledge with the new guard. Many of these "living legends" have special needs, or lack the funds to get to Vegas for the annual event. This fundraiser will help cover the travel costs of several living legends of burlesque, ensure the museum's continued existence, and allow for new additions to the museum's current attractions!With your help, we can preserve the history of an important American artform and support the Burlesque Hall of Fame.
