The Jewish Experience in Elgin: Stories of Immigration, Identity and Assimilation November 2, 2006

This new exhibit at the Museum will tell the history and stories of everyday men and women in the Elgin Jewish community. Area residents, groups and synagogues are invited to participate in the research phase of the project by contributing oral histories, photos, letters, diaries and other artifacts for possible inclusion in the final exhibit.
