The Jewel in the Manuscript October 28, 2012

Based on the life of Fyodor Dostoevsky, 'Jewel' follows the author as he attempts to pay off his gambling debts by writing a novel in one month. He hires a young woman to act as his sternographer and the two soon become close, but their relationship is threatened by the spectre of another woman who influences both Dostoevsky's writing and his life.
