The Inspiration of Barack: "Yes We Can" Film Series September 27, 2008

We shot 7 short films which all deal with different aspects of the American Dream. We screened them in New York and the movement has begun. We're excited about this and Michigan is our next stop. One of the shorts is already on the web and you may view it here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/qasim-basir/the-inspiration-of-barack_b_124995.html That, plus the other 6 powerful shorts (Housing, Immigration, Economy, Family, Vote and War) will be shown at the screening. We'll also have a behind the scenes video that shows the amazing story of how it all came together. This is not only a screening, but a tool to allow you to get involved with this very important time in history. We will have representatives there to sign people up for voter registration drives and to volunteer. The Director, Qasim "Q" Basir, will also be there for a Q&A session after.
