This is the Indianapolis/Bloomington Web Standards Meetup Group.

This group is interested in pretty much anything to do with creating things on the web, including (but not limited to) HTML / CSS, Javascript, Flash, design, photography, illustration, writing copy for webpages, and back-end work.

We are an all-inclusive group. We like to talk.

We would love for you to hang out with us.

This will be our fourth meetup. The last meetup was great, and our biggest ever. I'd like to keep that momentum going, so if you've been waiting for the right time to come, this is it!

For this meetup, we will have three main topics on our agenda:

* Resources: books, blogs, message boards...where do you learn about your work?
* Tools: What do you use to get your work done? Apple/PC, Photoshop, text editors, and everything else that you can't live without. Bring your laptops and you can demo your setup.
* Site Case Study - in which we would look at a site, and start breaking down how the best way to build it. I'm still open for suggestions, but I'm leaning towards using meetup.com as our first subject.
* Topics for future meetups
* As always, open, social discussions.

As you can see, we've also moved the location of our meetups to Central Library in Indianapolis. They have study rooms that we can reserve on the fourth floor, so we're going to try that out.

Argh, unfortunately this is the same night as the Libertarian Party Meetup I go to, so I won't be able to make it this time. Maybe another one, though.

Please feel free to pass along the word to all in attendance about Barcamp Indianapolis 2008, on February 9. All geeks welcome!
