The Imagined Village January 31, 2010

Winner of Best Traditional Song and nominee for Best Album at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2008, The Imagined Village is a much-heralded project spearheaded by Grammy Award-winning musician and producer Simon Emmerson.

An outstanding cast including Martin Carthy, Eliza Carthy and Chris Wood join Emmerson’s band on stage to perform material from the new album from The Imagined Village, interweaving traditional sounds with the voices of today.
