Who says health care is a new problem? As far back as 17th century France people have been complaining about the high costs of staying healthy! University Theatre lends its voice to the health care debate with its production of 'The Imaginary Invalid' by Moliere, adapted by Arrie Callahan. The comedy First performed in 1673, French dramatist and actor Moliere's last work tells the story of a miserly hypochondriac named Argan. Frustrated with ever-mounting medical bills, he arranges a marriage between his daughter and a doctor so he can have the benefit of free medical care. Hilarity ensues when his daughter refuses the husband-to-be, and his maid and brother collaborate to reveal the dishonest intentions of Argan's second wife.
