THE IDEA MAN takes us into that great gaping gulf between labor and management. In leaps Al, a sharp but underachieving line worker, who drops a suggestion in "the box" on how to improve the machine he's tied to, which is so brilliant it could revolutionize the industry. His prize: a one hundred dollar check and a plaque. The corporate bosses see it as a win-win windfall. But Al’s got other ideas.
