Short Cuts Cinema screens The Hunger Games (Gary Ross, 2012) on Monday 24th September at 7.30pm in the Studio Theatre.

Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the evil Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to fight to the death on national television. A twisted punishment for a past uprising and an ongoing government intimidation tactic, Katniss Everdeen volunteers to take her younger sister's place for the latest match.
