The Humanities Council presents Live to Read, a three-week celebration of free reading and film screenings designed to encourage district residents to read or re-read To Kill a Mockingbird and participate in group discussions. Programs include library read-ins, in-school readings, online discussions, exhibits, film screenings, and a closing celebration. Highlights include: May 19 Poster and Crossword Exhibit and a May 30 Roundtable Discussions in select DCPS classrooms with select “Atticus Finch-type” lawyers.
