The Hugh Thompson Show

Created for the AT&T Tech Channel and hosted by famed internet security
expert, Hugh Thompson, this AT&T program combines Hugh's zany
personality with his professional background making Hugh the driving
force behind this series.

Styled after a late night talk show, each program is taped in front of a
live audience and consists of a comedic monologue, a tape package,
studio guests, audience participation and a live band. For our guests
the fun starts the minute they enter our studio. The Hugh Thompson Show
band, lead by the musical and lyrical talents of Steve Poltz, actually
writes an original song for each one of our guests as they enter the
staging area.

While the focus of the program is technology and security we take a
broad approach to these subjects through a diverse list of informative
and entertaining guests. Prior bookings include renowned scientists and
authors Bill Cheswick, Steve Bellovin, creators of the Firewalll,
Whitfield Diffie, Howard Schmidt and Tom Wheeler. Controversial public
figures like Richard Stallman have also joined our list of interesting
guests. Comedians Nancy Giles and Pat Dixon as well as music artists
Jonathan Colton and Karen Jacobsen have entertained the live audience at
The Hugh Thompson Show.

The Hugh Thompson Show has explored the underground worlds of voter
hacking, US mail fraud, ID Theft and data recovery. In the immortal
words of Hugh Thompson... Love the Bits and they'll Love You Back.
