LADIES' NIGHT FALL 2005
Thursday September 22nd, 2005 7-11pm at the Jorge Hernandez Center
$5 admission, 18+ cash bar

The Honah Lee, a Boston-based promotion, styling and event planning company presents "Ladies' Night Fall, A showcase of Women Artists, Designers and Entrepreneurs" at the Jorge Hernandez Cultural Center / Villa Victoria, Thursday, September 22nd, 2005, 7-11 p.m. Continuing in the tradition and success of Ladies' Night, the bi-annual event showcases the products of many creative inspirations of women from every scene and lifestyle in the Boston metropolitan area.
The event boasts over twenty new vendors, and guests are encouraged to network with some of the hottest emerging women entrepreneurs and artists in the area.
Lazy Sue and Honey Do, the mad cows of Slim Jim and the Mad Cows will host the event with their own unique style of country soaked/fried sass and charm. Slim Jim and the Mad Cows have made a reputation around Boston for their original, country inspired interpretations of nineteen eighties metal songs.
Join us at 8:30, when Through the Keyhole Burlesque take the stage and dazzle the crowd with their voluptuous and tantalizing (yet tasteful!) acts. The ladies have been working hard since the last show and have many new surprises for our eyes and ears.
The fashion show, beginning at 9:00, features futuristic urban nomadic clothing by Allison Pharmakis. Her latest line, Urban Shaman, is a show not to be missed. Musical protégé Haven will accompany the models on stage.
Our DJ for the evening Miss Mademoiselle Nips will spin records throughout the night, playing selections from her vinyl collection of fifties and sixties female soul artists.
Some of this year?s vendors include skin care by Dallas Winston, home made chocolates from ?Oh My Gawd Becky! Look at that Chocolate!? and Linda McMaster?s amazing sock monkeys. Monique Rancourt?s metal jewelry and sculptures will also be available.
Since having a portrait studio at the last Ladies? Night was such a hit, with so many photos taken, Andrea Fischman will be back this fall on stage snapping portraits of friends, acquaintances, vendors, shutter bugs, and anyone who is willing.
Paintings and illustrations by local artists such as the Honah Lee?s own designer, Jenna Talbott, as well as web master Deirdre Doyle will also be on display and for sale.
