HolacracyOne and Integral Europe present:

The Holacracy Experience
March 23, 2009
Nyenrode Business University, The Netherlands

Rarely
do organizations live up to their full potential. Even our most
progressive approaches to human organizationand management are often
insufficient for navigating todays complex and rapidly changing world.

What
if we questioned our deepest assumptions about organizational design in
light of the challenges and opportunities we face today? Could we
transform our most fundamental approaches to organization to enable
entirely new levels of agility, health, and results?
These
questions are being asked by a growing number of organizational
pioneers, and a compelling possibility is emerging. Its called
Holacracy.

About HolacracyTMHolacracy
is a complete system for organizational governance and management that
honors conventional business fundamentals while integrating cutting-edgetransformative
practices. With its unique structure and processes, Holacracy
integrates the collective wisdom of people throughout the organization,
while highlighting the needs of the organization distinct from those of
the individuals within. The result is greater agility, innovation,
transparency, and health; liberating the organization to live up to its
full potential.

About the TrainingThis workshop dives into the core principles, structure, and practices
of Holacracy through interactive lecture and immersive simulations.
Attendees will witness Holacracy in action and actively participate in
Holacracys key meetings and decision-making processes, and leave with
a first-hand experience of Holacracys leading-edge organizational
design and practice.

About the Trainers

Tom Thomison serves as CEO of HolacracyOne. With over 20 years of
entrepreneurial and professional experience, Mr. Thomison has carried
responsibilities spanning most aspects of business, including strategy
development, finance, operations, human resources, marketing,
technology, and business development. He has founded three companies,
one of which was sold in a public transaction, and has helped grow
several startup organizations. In addition to his direct business
leadership experience, Mr. Thomison has served as a management
consultant to small and medium sized businesses in the areas of
strategy, human resources, technology, and marketing, and he has
consulted to Fortune class companies in the areas of business process
analysis, documentation, and enterprise technology management.

Brian Robertson founded Ternary Software
in 2001, and led the company as CEO for seven years before
transitioning into his current Chairman of the Board role. During his
tenure as Ternarys CEO he built the firm into an award-winning
provider of software development services, earning local recognition as
one of the fastest-growing private companies and best places to work in
the region, and international recognition as one of the worlds most
democratic workplaces and for embracing the full human spirit in the
workplace. At Ternary, Brian pioneered an innovative approach to
corporate governance and management called Holacracy, which has now
become an international movement. In 2007, he founded Holacracy
training and licensing firm HolacracyOne, where he serves as Chairman
and currently focuses much of his time. Beyond his day-to-day work with
HolacracyOne, he leads many of the organizations trainings and
workshops, and his writings and speaking engagements provide a voice to
the Holacracy movement across the world.
