Originally formed in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2002, the band have undergone a massive reinvention since their debut full-length Histronics dropped in 2005. Their newest, On Fire, was recorded earlier this year with Mike Green (Paramore, the Matches). The discas upbeat amalgam of emo, punk and R&B may catch some listener's off guard, but there's enough diversity on the album to please everyone from Jawbreaker to Justin Timberlake.

The Higher have already converted Epitaph founder Brett Gurewitz (who signed the band after seeing them perform just once) as well as fans all over the world--now it's your turn to get turned onto the Higher.
