A 50 year old actor, down on his luck, attempts to reverse
his fortunes by doing a one man show. Nothing
new there... except that he's chosen Shakespeare's Hamlet - uncut -
four-and-a-half hours! He's sold his car
and his father's gold watch to pay for it all and his wife has left him. Everything rides on it. It's his opening night - 35 minutes before
curtain up (The Half) and he is starting to unravel... Will he make it to the
stage or will he self-destruct?
