With astonishing dexterity and an eye for minute detail, John Taylor Arms (1887-1953) created prints of monumental presence belying their modest size. A master at articulating the beauty of the great Gothic cathedrals, Arms also depicted modern marvels such as the Brooklyn Bridge. This exhibition spans the entirety of the artist's career and features some 65 prints and drawings, as well as examples of etching plates. The show will follow Arms' thematic groupings, organizing his prints into the series titles he designated, such as French Church, Gargoyle, Italian, and New York.
