The Gossip's bluesy garage punk boasts the ferocity of front-woman Beth Ditto, guitarist Brace Paine, and drummer Hannah Billie (replacing original drummer Kathy Mendonca). Formed in Searcy, Arkansas, the band moved to Olympia, Washington, joining the roster of the indie rock label K Records. Elements of dance-punk have worked their way into the Gossip's sound across four albums, including 2005's 'Standing in the Way of Control.' 2006 saw the release of 'GSSP RMX,' which solidified their more danceable direction. A 2007 live concert from Liverpool is now available as a double CD and DVD release. The Long Blondes are a five-piece English indie rock band from Sheffield. The band is known not just for their music, but also their "glamorous punk" image. Panther is duo from Portland.
