An Animated Rock Opera by Mia and Jonah

Artists are working a new brand of storytelling into the realm of live shows. In this new performance piece, Mia and Jonah have created stop-motion animation to accompany a musical telling of their story. “The Golden Ass” spins an ancient tale while inhabiting character’s lives to reveal emotional truths, both intimate and epic.

Mia and Jonah will share songs from their new record - simultaneously projecting videos to reflect themes and details of the narrative. This multi-media experience will last 30 minutes with an artist Q and A directly following the show.
