From New England happy-hour Super Star in the early 60's., to headlining shows at New York's renowned Copacabanna Club in the 70's. Since his first performance at The Improv at Merv Griffin's Resorts International, Atlantic City in the 80's, Dick has established himself as a powerhouse on the national comedy scene. Dick chooses to maintain a devilish yet lovable style which has continued to endear him to comedy audiences of all ages. His successes at major college campuses, national comedy clubs, national conventions and corporate meetings, has established Dick Doherty as the consummate veteran and hilariously right for your event.

A favorite act wherever he goes, Jim mixes his cynical, biting, self-deprecating material with some of the most off the wall off the wall and original impressions you'll EVER see. Quoted by the Boston Globe as "...off-beat and original.". Not only is Jim one of the most popular headliners in New England, he's a regular performer in Las Vegas and Atlantic City! Jim also has an impressive resume of national television credits which include: HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival's "Best of the Fest", NBC,A&E's "Caroline's Comedy Hour", Comedy Central's "Two Drink Minimum", "Stand-up, Stand-up", "Make Me Laugh", "Comic Re-mix" and "Shorties Watchin' Shorties" and Comcast's "Comedy Spotlight".
