Led by famed Australian conductor/composer, Sean O’Boyle, THE GLORY OF SCOTLAND promises to be an entertaining evening of all your Scottish favourites.

"THE GLORY OF SCOTLAND is a wild celebration of music, song and dance," Sean said. "Music and dance are a powerful combination and I love working with the diverse performers in the show."

Sean, from Brisbane, Australia who was born just south of the Scottish border is now a resident of New York City. He is a renowned Celtic music expert and also one of Australia’s most successful composers. His superb new arrangements are now one of the very popular features of the show. Sean, is joined by soprano Suzanne Kompass, who along with Sean just completed the national tour of Australia. Other soloists include tenors Edward Franko and Lenard Whiting and Robert Longo, baritone, best known as The Beast in the Toronto production of Beauty and the Beast; Julie Fitzgerald, Canadian Master Fiddling Champion; Colleen Rintamkai, 10-time World Highland Dancing Champion, pianist Brett Kingsbury. Special guest star young treble, Charles Waddell, members of the Toronto Police Pipe Band and the Scottish Dance Company of Canada join the soloists along with THE GLORY OF SCOTLAND Choir and Sinfonia TrypTych to create a complete celebration of Scottish music and dance on stage.

The program consists of classic Scottish favourites: THE GLORY OF SCOTLAND Fanfare, One Hundred Pipers, O Sing to me the auld Scotch Songs, Ye Banks and Braes, a Brigadoon Medley, Skye Boat Song, a Scottish Sing-a-long, Amazing Grace and Auld Lang Syne to name a few. The concert duration is 150 minutes including interval.

THE GLORY OF SCOTLAND audiences are always thrilled by the spectacle, the virtuosity of the soloists and the emotion and enthusiasm of the performances. For anyone who loves Scotland, don’t miss THE GLORY OF SCOTLAND.
