The legendary Glenn Miller Orchestra will get your toes a tappin' with songs like 'Moonlight Serenade,' 'In the Mood' & 'Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree.' They may be from an era gone by, but they still get under your skin. The present Glenn Miller Orchestra was formed in 1956 & has been touring consistently since, playing an average of 300 live dates a year all around the world. The 19-member band continues to play many of the original Miller arrangements. The USO of Metropolitan New York Show Troupe usually features three women and two men, all professional performers based in New York City. Continuing a tradition started in 1941, this versatile troupe performs a variety of material ranging from classic American standards to disco and everything in between. Their purpose is to bring a touch of home to the men and women serving overseas, as well as provide entertainment for local veterans.
