The George Riabov Collection of Russian Art September 27, 2008

Over 1,100 works encompass Russian art from the fourteenth through the twentieth centuries. Special features include landscapes and views of well-known urban centers with distinctive Russian architecture from 1800 to 1930, Russian Orthodox icons, folk prints known as lubki and Russian costume and set designs for modern theater, dance and opera.
