The Gender Crisis: Understanding and Treating the Causes of Violence Against Women December 4, 2009

Bright Presence Training Ltd are offering a couple of FREE seminar events in Manchester as part of the International 16 Days of Action to End Violence Against Women. This campaign, by the Center for Women’s Global Leadership, is in its 19th year and has done much for the issues of gender violence against women around the world.

This is a massively serious issue with 1 in 4 women in the UK having experience domestic violence at some time, and globally, 1 in 3.

This kind of violence really can end if we all care enough about it to act, but only if we start treating the causes and not the symptoms, otherwise we are simply pruning a bush that keeps growing.

Event Synopsis:
The most effective way to end violence against women must surely be treating it at source – the causes, not the effects. Exploring the most glossed-over issue of our times, the Gender Crisis, a Bright Presence Training Ltd Speaker goes further and deeper than most are willing to expose the real causes of violence against women.

Challenging traditional ideas, this event offers effective insights, tools and strategies for treating gender violence, both for individuals on a personal level, and also for service providers seeking new techniques and approaches.
