The Garden City Hotel, Karyn Michael Events and Bridal Reflections debut the first Bridal Art Showcase: a luxurious wedding gala experience in the Grand Ballroom of Long Island’s premier wedding destination, The Garden City Hotel, on Sunday, February 21 from noon to 5:00 p.m.

Never before on Long Island have such a team of elite wedding service experts come together this way. Guests will experience a unique bridal show in the form of a luxurious wedding gala. Set in the legendary hotel’s Grand Ballroom, as decorated by Karyn Michael Events, guests will sample diverse international banquet menus by Belgian Master Chef Steven De Bruyn and see a designer fashion show by Bridal Reflections. Expert sound and lighting, photography and designer wedding cakes are all part of the occasion.

For tickets to this event, brides must complete a brief questionnaire via www.bridal-art.com. The cost of tickets for the first 150 registered brides is $25 per person. In return, guests receive a complimentary $25 gift card to dine at The Garden City Hotel's signature restaurant, Rein.

Cathy Nelkin Miller, President of The Garden City Hotel, says, “We are delighted brides-to-be will experience the legendary Garden City Hotel just as they would their own wedding. Each guest will receive exceptional service and attention from our experienced staff, be surrounded by the exquisite design detail of our Grand Ballroom, and savor award-winning cuisine by our Belgian Master Chef Steven De Bruyn. From their first step into the hotel’s grand entrance to their first dance in the Grand Ballroom, we look forward to sharing the tradition of elegance for which the hotel has been famous since 1874.”

“Brides will preview the stunning 2010 collections right off the runway,” says RoseLynn Micari, General Manager of Bridal Reflections. “We will unveil the best of the upcoming trends like glamorous ball gowns, sophisticated fitted mermaids and uniquely textured ruched bodices. From lace and shimmer to classic simplicity, the gowns, like the modern women of New York, will stand out and impress.”

Karyn Michael of Karyn Michael Events says, “I am pleased to be a partner in this debut bridal showcase. I look forward to producing this event and showcasing our extraordinary talents and capabilities to the Long Island market.”
