The G2 Gallery and The Theodore Payne Foundation present “The Native Plant Garden: An Artist’s View” with Andreas Hessing Class on Artistic Approaches to Native Plant Gardening March 20, 2010

Artist and Landscape Designer, Andreas Hessing will lead a class at The G2 Gallery, a green art space specializing in nature and wildlife photography. The Theodore Payne Foundation for Wildflowers & Native Plants, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the understanding, use and preservation of the California native flora will co-host the event.

Explore a personal approach to landscape design that incorporates artistic expression and practicality with green construction strategies. Andreas Hessing’s site-specific installations celebrate regional biodiversity while focusing on the philosophical, political and social implications of California’s indigenous flora.
