The Future Can Wait October 13, 2010

Curated by Zavier Ellis and Simon Rumley, the Future Can Wait is a museum-scale exhibition showcasing 30 London trained artists, from what has been dubbed The New London School. The curators, proved adept at picking up and nurturing collectible talents, conceived the Future CAn Wait as East London's alternative to Frieze, and the exhibition has stood the test of time. Taking place at the new location of Shoreditch Town Hall, the exhibition showcases a disturbing selection of works (performance, video, site specific installation, paiting) sharing an un-pretty aesthetic and is organised with a specific curatorial taste for the grotesque and the sinister.

Artist include Jasper Joffe, Gavin Nolan, Tessa Farmer, Sam and Luke Jackson amongst others
