One of Italy’s most celebrated pianists, Bruno Canino, together with flautist revelation Ginevra Petrucci, present The Flute in Europe Between the XIX an XX Centuries: a selection of music by César Franck, Pierre Sancan, Alfredo Casella and Mario Pilati.
Bruno Canino taught piano at the Conservatory of Milan, Italy, and Berne, Switzerland, and was musical director of the Venice’s Biennale Musica. Flautist Ginevra Petrucci, Diplôme d’Exécution à l’unanimité at École Normale A. Cortot in Paris under the guidance of Pierre-Yves Artaud, keeps an intense concert schedule, both in chamber ensembles and as a soloist, in Europe, Asia, Africa and United States.
The concert will take place at the Gallery of the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco. The audience will have the rare opportunity to listen the two exceptional performers surrounded by magnificent works of Giorgio Morandi
