The Fisticuffs is an Irish Folk Punk band from the South Side of Chicago. Formed in 2005 and borrowing from traditional Irish music and punk, their music is similar to an Irish wake mixed with a soccer riot, containing lyrics about hard work, family, heritage at home and abroad, a great many sins, and life on the South Side of Chicago.
