The Wounded Warrior Project, LIVESTRONG, and The CrossFit Foundation will be the beneficiaries of a competitive workout event on Saturday, Sept. 25th at CrossFit The Rack, located in Gold's Gym in Paramus. Part of a national fundraiser known as Fight Gone Bad, the multi-discipline workouts will run from 6 am to 6 pm. Last year more than 5,200 people participated, raising more than $1.1 million for the charities. The goal for this year is to raise more than $2 million. In the workout participants move through five stations for one minute each. Upon completion of the "round" of exercise, they get a minute of rest and then go for two more rounds. Scoring is based on the number of repetitions the athletes can complete in each minute. Each participant will have sponsors pledged to contribute to the fundraiser. Winners will be announced at the end of the day. For further information contact Patrick Sullivan at 201-693-3154 or e-mail info@crossfitthe rack.com. To register or donate go to fgb5.org.
