Mal Label Music Showcases Female-Powered Glitch Hop & Grime
June 7th, 2008
Mal Label Music presents The Femme Fatale Bass Breakin’ Ball in the Darkroom at Club 6 (6th and Market SF). The first annual celebration of Women’s Bass Nasty Beats to get the dance floor hot and dirty.

Sweat. Get wet. Girls and boys dress up and get down to Global Grime infused Glitch and DubStep beats spun by the Bay Area’s finest DJs.

ANA SIA (3WS) will be dropping glitched out, sexed up, low freq, strip-hop beats guaranteed to get the dance floor connected.

PERSIA of the Mamaz and featured on Bassnectar’s Bomb the Blocks, rips the mic into a million pieces.

EL DIABLO, spins out grimy global bass tunes and also will be performing a live electro-turntablist set.

The GENIE, inventor of the scratch guitar, whose compositions sound more like a DJ remixing beats than a live guitarist.

And Introducing OWN, a Detroit based DJ who throws down her style of Detroit Electro, Dub, and DubStep.

While the beats are rattling eardrums, eyes will widen to the cutting edged live visual stimulus produced by VJs Contact (Surya Dub), who will be triggering & remixing the video live, in sync with the beats

Look out for costumed sexy ladies prowling the dance floor. Dress up, dress down, don’t wear anything at all. Be creative with your costume and get $2 off at the door ($10) Let’s get dirty! June 7th, 2008 at Club 6. Doors @ 9.
