Maynards Market and Kitchen, Slow Food Tucson and the Santa Cruz Heritage Alliance are pleased to announce the first in a series of events highlighting locally raised foods, wines, olive oils and more. The first event, A “Farmer’s” Dinner will take place at Maynards Market and Kitchen on Wednesday, July 22nd . The evening will begin at 5pm with an olive oil tasting presented by local producer “Queen Creek Olive Ranch”.
At 6pm, guests will join Maynards Executive Chef Addam Buzzalini and Cup Café Executive Chef Travis Peters in the private dining room at Maynards for a fabulous six course dinner they will create using ingredients primarily from locally raised products. Throughout the evening, guest wine makers, growers from the Santa Cruz Alliance, and Chefs Buzzalini and Peters will offer information about each course.
The dinner is $55 per person or $70 with paired wines for each course (price does not include tax and gratuity). Space is limited to the first 30 people to reserve their spots for this very special dinner. For reservations call 520-545-0577.
