'The Fantasticks' is a musical in which two fathers conceive of a perfect, failsafe plan for their children to fall in love -- they create a false "feud" between them, build a wall, pretend to hate each other's progeny and wait. Of course, as planned, their children fall madly in love. All is well until the wall comes down and real life begins. There are wonderful songs in the score, such as 'Try to Remember' and 'Soon It's Gonna Rain.' 'The Fantasticks' is a tender love tale with life's lessons for all involved.
